What you can expect on our courses
- Our courses balance theory with application, giving opportunities for interaction, practice and learning through doing, while respecting individual learning styles.
There is a warm atmosphere and time for individual coaching. It's also a lot of fun.
The majority of our courses will have approximately 12 people attending. Some other NLP training programmes have as many as 700 people. However, much of the contact you will have during training with these organisations will be with their ex-students who usually work for free. It is unlikely that you will get much "quality time" with the trainers themselves. With us, your contact and training and guidance will be with Stephen and Lee personally.
What is different about our approach
- Having two trainers throughout our courses adds a dimension rarely experienced with most NLP training companies.
NLP training is often polarised between either a business edge or a life-style / therapeutic approach. Our uniqueness comes from having trainers from these two often conflicting worlds, creating a hybrid which is both effective and caring. In some ways, this is a metaphor of what NLP is about. Our different perspectives on NLP complement one and other, add to one and other and your training is so much richer for the wide ranging views.
Stephen and Lee have learnt from virtually all of the main founders within the field of NLP. They have used the various models and processes whilst coaching clients over the years and have identified what they consider works the best. The training is therefore based on modelling the best qualities from all of the founders of NLP. Modelling excellence is the essence of NLP. We want our students not just to learn NLP, but also to apply that learning to assist in the leadership of their own lives.
The other benefit of having two such different trainers is that it implicitly invites students to find their own personal leadership style. Some trainers seem to cultivate a celebrity persona, which, we think, creates a "follower" or a "do NLP like me" mentality.
